Resources for Providers
The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) program provider portal provides information about DSHS programs. This portal allows providers to seamlessly prepare for annual re-enrollment and stay up-to-date on compliance requirements at the state and federal levels. DSHS prioritizes clarity and transparency, ensuring that your focus remains on patient care while we handle the administrative details.
Programs
Detailed program overviews for DSHS programs: Adult Safety Net (ASN), Texas Immunizations Registry (ImmTrac2), Texas Vaccines for Children (TVFC) and the Vaccine Ordering and Allocation System (VAOS). Answering program questions for providers.
The Quality Assurance and Improvement (QAI) team helps providers stay informed about the compliance requirements for both the Texas DSHS and federal Immunization Quality Improvement for Providers (IQIP).
Vaccine Information Statements (VIS) are sheets with information made by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). They inform people getting vaccines, their parents, or legal representatives about the benefits and risks of a vaccine.

Both Texas Vaccines for Children (TVFC) and the Adult Safety Net (ASN) use the Vaccine Ordering and Allocation System (VAOS) to request vaccines, complete inventory transfers, record waste and generate reports. VAOS offers an enhanced user interface, guided instruction, real-time notification from DSHS staff, and centralized paperless documentation.
