Texas School Immunization Validation Survey
This survey is conducted annually to validate the results of the DSHS Annual Report of Immunization Status in Texas Schools. A random sample of public and private schools is selected for the survey. Local Health Department and Regional Health Department staff review a random sample of immunization records from each selected school. Statewide vaccination coverage levels are available for Kindergarten through Seventh grade students attending public and private schools in Texas. Online data is maintained for five years.
