Certainly! All Grand Rounds are presented both live in Austin and via webinar.
The Grand Rounds Calendar page describes the available sessions along with links to register.
Registration is required in order to access the webinar and must be done before the presentation. If you plan to attend live and did not register, be sure to sign in upon arrival.
If you viewed the webinar, but did not log in yourself, your name will not appear on the attendance report provided by GoToWebinar, and you will not automatically receive evaluation and certificate information.
Send an email to GrandRounds@dshs.texas.gov immediately following the end of the presentation to be added to the attendance list. Visit the Registration Options page for more information.
At the completion of each Grand Rounds presentation, all logged-in webinar participants and signed-in live participants will receive an email with a link to the course evaluation, located on Survey Monkey. The evaluation will be available for one week past the date of the presentation, and certificates will be emailed to all attendees who complete the evaluation, within two weeks after the presentation.
If you have not received an email with the link to the evaluation within 24 hours after the presentation, email GrandRounds@dshs.texas.gov. It is possible that the email address entered upon registration was accidentally typed incorrectly, and the email went to an unknown address. Note that the evaluation closes one week after the presentation date and will no longer be available for completion for continuing education credits/contact hours.
Yes! As long as you attended/viewed the entire presentation and completed the evaluation, you are eligible to receive a certificate for continuing education credits/contact hours.
Email GrandRounds@dshs.texas.gov; it is possible that the email address entered when completing the evaluation was accidentally typed incorrectly, and the email went to an unknown address.
The GoToWebinar menu contains a section for sending questions to the webinar moderator during the presentation. These questions are forwarded to the presenter and answered at the end of the presentation. Any questions not answered during the allotted Grand Rounds time will be posted on the Current Presentations page.

It certainly will! All Grand Rounds webinars are recorded and stored on the GoToWebinar website. Contact grandrounds@dshs.texas.gov following the presentation for a link to the recording. Unfortunately, the recorded version of the webinars is not eligible for continuing education credits/contact hours.
Grand Rounds Presentation announcements will be emailed monthly.
