Recall of Donated Ground Beef Products

DSHS is announcing that Trophy Buck, Inc. has recalled approximately 72,000 pounds of frozen raw ground beef donated last year in Bexar and Montgomery counties because it was not produced under state or federal inspection.
The two-pound packages of raw frozen ground beef have “Packed On” dates from June 12 to September 25, 2023 and were clearly marked with the words NOT FOR SALE as pictured below. They were distributed through various food donation charities in the Montgomery and Bexar county areas.
No illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported in connection with this recall. Consumers are urged not to consume these products and instead dispose of them.
